Pistolet à silex, à coffre, à balles forcées, signé DALLY

fin XVIIIème siècle.
Coffre très finement ciselé d'un lion et d'un loup, chien ciselé en harmonie d'une tête animale stylisée, sécurité à l'arrière du chien, détente pliante également finement ciselée d'un motif floral, canon a balle forcée au même numéro (I), crosse en noyer finement sculptée et quadrillée.
Longueur : 17 cm.
Bel état de conservation.
DALLY (DAILLY-DALEY), Nicolas : arquebusier à Paris de 1762 à 1781. Reçu maître arquebusier comme apprenti et par chef d’œuvre le 19 juin 1764. Élu juré de la Communauté en 1771, maître représentant de la Communauté en 1781. Un autre Nicolas DALLY admis maître arquebusier à Paris le 18 octobre 1781.

Box lock action finely chiselled of a lion and a wolf, chiselled lock with an animal head, safety catch, folding trigger also finely chiselled with floral patterns, turn off barrel at the same number (I), sculpted walnut butt.

Very good condition.
